At Wirral Mencap, we believe everyone deserves CHOICE, opportunity, and equality. That’s why we offer support, activities, and learning experiences that help people build confidence, become more independent, and live fulfilling lives.

How We Can Help You
At Wirral Mencap, we support people in Wirral with a learning disability by:
- championing equality and promoting independence
- providing knowledge and building confidence
- connecting people to their community
- collaborating, informing and sharing best practice
What We Do
- Provide free and low-cost courses to help people develop skills
- Organise inclusive community events
- Offer support and advice for individuals and families
- Work with local organisations to promote awareness and inclusion
Our work is driven by a passionate team and a brilliant group of volunteers. Together, we are creating a stronger, more inclusive Wirral where learning disabilities are never a barrier to opportunity.
